These are still questions we're confronted with.
The female body – and thus every woman – is burdened, in one way or another, by a long cultural history of denial and appropriation.
The impact is enormous.
The graphic shows a hand gesture – an attitude towards the message –
to give it the space that it didn't have for a long time in purely etymological terms: Viva la Vulva!
